Medieval

These drawings are explorations for a project that will appear in the next issue of Threads, the wearable art zine that Jennifer Sullivan and I edit together.  For this project, writer JW McCormack and I are embarking on a prose and fashion collaboration.  We are inspired by illuminated manuscripts and tales of medieval intrigue and manipulation.  As you can see, I am really into hats at the moment.  The wearable art that I make to illustrate JW’s story will be photographed by Rachel Day.  Look for it in the next issue of Threads, due to be released in April.
